Sarah Palin, Kate Gosselin go camping in Alaska.

In an upcoming episode of TLC's series "Kate Plus 8," Sarah Palin may be taking Kate Gosselin and her brood camping up in Alaska.

Yes, you can start singing, "Kate and Sarah and bears, Oh MY!"

Coincidentally, Palin's new reality TV show about Alaska also airs on TLC, just like Gosselin's does. What to do that TV cross-over synergy, TLC.

In Touch has reported that Kate and her 8 kids will travel to Alaska to hook up with former-Alaska-governor-turned-Tea-Party-activist Palin.

"Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping," their source says. And Sarah's father, a retired science teacher, and her brother, a third-grade teacher, will do natural history lessons for twins Mady and Cara, and 6-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis.

Sarah is tickled about about the upcoming visit. "She's excited because it will be fun and educational for the children. Sarah will even teach Kate how to avoid bears!" the insider adds.

And, presumably, Sarah may also show Kate how to put lipstick on a pig AND a soccer mom. Let's just pray she doesn't take the Gosselin kids wolf hunting in helicopters. That could scar them for life.
